與傳統中式建筑講究高空間、大進深、布局對稱、裝飾材料以木料為主不同，現代的中式建筑無論是在建筑立面、空間尺度，還是景觀規劃上，都進行了適當的改良，重新分配了建筑的空間關系，依照現代家庭結構重新進行了人與空間關系的發展與創新，依據現代家庭對外關系狀況，豐富了住宅功能動線，如增加、擴大了客人休息區，主客分離。此外為適應現代家庭土地利用的需要，對傳統單軸對稱的多進建筑布局進行改革，再現現代版的“庭院深深深幾許”的傳統建筑意象。
Chinese Style
Utilizing of the Modern Design Concept and the Techniques to Rebuild a Traditional Chinese Space
Recurrence of Traditional Symbols Reformation of Modernized Design
Different from the traditional Chinese architectures which have high space, profound depth, symmetric layout and wooden decorative materials, the modern Chinese-style architectures are reformed from the aspects of architectural façade, spatial scale and landscape planning. The spatial relation of the architecture is rearranged, developed and innovated according to the modern household. Based on the situation of the modern families’ relationships with the exterior world, the functional lines of the residences are enriched. For example, rest area for visitors is increased and enlarged, the owners and the visitors are separated. In addition, in order to satisfy the land utilization of modern families, the traditional single-axial architectural layout is reformed to reproduce the traditional architectural image of profound yards.
